About Us
Leys Web and Graphic Design is owned and operated by John and Justine Leys, who live in Redmond, Oregon with their son. They started Leys Web and Graphic Design as both a creative outlet and a business venture to enable them to work from home and spend more time together as a family.
John has had a strong interest in web design since he first went on-line nearly in the mid-90s, designing several small sites mostly for his own amusement. He has had a love of the arts for as long as he can remember, writing prose and poetry and drawing since he was very young. His love of art and creating things melded very quickly with his love of computers when his family first purchased one in the mid-1980s. Beginning with an archaic version of Print Shop and moving on to MS Paint and later Gimp, Pain.Net, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash, John has been creating artwork on computers for close to 20 years in one form or another. While he occassionally uses programs like Microsoft Expression Web and Adobe Dreamweaver, John generally prefers to write and code his web pages by hand, usually using NotePad++ .
Justine has just as much a creative artistic soul as her husband. Working in many mediums, from clay pottery to photography and interior design (She almost single handedly designed the look and feel of their wedding), Justine lives to create and is excited to be able to create for others. In 2011 she established Frog Fotography, a photography business, as an outlet for her creativity.
The Leys Family is very excited to be able to use their creative energies to help others promote and run their businesses and other endevours on-line. Unlike many large corporations and design firms, Leys Web and Graphic Design's first focus in on one-to-one interaction with our clients, working with you to make your vision a reality!
